The Amadeus and Orbis databases are international databases created by Bureau van Dijk Electronic Publishing (currently Moody’s), whose partner we have been since 1995.
These are unique databases of several hundred million entities from all over the world (Orbis) or several dozen million entities from Europe (Amadeus), containing, inter alia, financial information and shareholding structures.
These databases, currently available with the use of the TP Catalyst and TaxRisk Catalyst analytical tools, enable conducting complex sectoral analyzes and company selection processes by applying various criteria. They present aggregated financial and registry data, the structure of capital ties and a great deal of other important business information. They are a commonly used source of data in international transfer pricing benchmarking, industry and sectoral analyzes, as well as market marketing research.
The Amadeus and Orbis databases are the outcome of the long-term cooperation of their author with InfoCredit and other local business intelligence agencies from all over Europe and the world. Each of these companies provides the database with economic data from the local market (usually from the territory of a selected country) in which it operates. The data obtained in this way from all countries is then verified, standardized and combined according to a common established standard. Therefore, users of the databases have access to a unique set of interconnected data with a very wide range of applications.
InfoCredit is the exclusive Polish distributor of these products in Poland.
The Amadeus and Orbis databases are available in a couple of different versions – depending on the amount and scope of information used by the user and the form of access to the database itself.
